Key Engagements:
- Supported development of the Breaking Transmission Strategy (2019-2023) targeting Bilharzia, Intestinal Worms, Elephantiasis, and Trachoma.
- Led a community-led acceptability study for triple drug therapy for Elephantiasis, boosting coverage in identifed implementation units for two consecutive years.
- Conducted precision mapping of intestinal worms and Bilharzia in 5 lake region counties, enabling targeted interventions.
- Supported community-wide treatment in Coastal and lake regions for 2 years.
- Promoted behaviour change communication to prevent Bilharzia and Intestinal Worms in Western region.
Current Focus:
- Collaborating with NPHI and stakeholders on Snake bite envenoming.
- Exploring opportunities in Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) and supporting the upcoming Health Security Conference.
